Business Development Executive x 2 - St. Austell - £30-40,000 base salary + bonus opportunities

Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a new client, a well-established and successful Cornish retail business, specialising in both B2C and B2B trade nationwide. The company seeks to recruit two Business Development Executives to join their long standing sales team. Both roles are offered on a full time, permanent basis and the successful candidates will work from the company’s modern headquarters in St. Austell. 

The business prides itself on exceptional customer service and go to great effort to ensure that their BD executives are fully versed in the company’s product and service range hence the successful candidates can expect superb training and development. Core focus of the role: 

- Engage with new and existing customers to develop continued business opportunities and growth through meaningful sales

- Maintain a portfolio of clients to ensure efficient KPIs are achieved 

- Follow up on leads generated by new business and sales support teams 

- Ongoing communication with clients both face-to-face, and via telephone/MS Teams 

- Monitor and analyse client portfolio spending habits 

- Ensure excellent value for money to existing and new clients by recommending on products and services 

- Develop sales pipelines using the company’s CRM system 

- Regular team meetings and liaison with senior management team 

For this role we seek motivated and experienced candidates ideally, though not essentially, with recent experience gained in a sales/business development capacity. It should be noted that this is not a telesales/call centre environment and our client is keen to emphasise the importance of diligent selling with a superb understanding/knowledge of the company’s products and services. The company promotes a team working environment where financial incentives are offered on a group achievement basis, so excellent communication and colleague support skills will be essential, as will a sound aptitude to pick up new digital sales CRMs.
