Exclusive to Well Placed HR

Human Resources Administrator - Plymouth - £23-25,000

Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by one of Plymouth’s most prestigious and regarded employees, a highly successful consumer services business with a UK wide portfolio of customers. The company has experienced phenomenal growth and now employs 800 staff across multiple countrywide sites. As a result of continued headcount growth, the people management team also continues to expand and they now seek to recruit an experienced HR Administrator. The role is offered on a full time, blended working arrangement - two days office based and three days remote (Friday’s always remote).

This role works as part of an extremely friendly and experienced team; it’s a high performing function based on team work and shared responsibilities.  The successful HR Administrator will work closely with their people management colleagues to ensure proactive and beneficial support to the function. Key responsibilities to include:

- Play a key role in maintaining the people management ERP ensuring compliance with company policy, GDPR, and general employment legislation

- Provide efficient, compassionate HR support and act as a direct line of support for employee queries

- Support the senior HR team in the development and implementation of people management projects

For this role, our client is more focussed on relevant experience and personal qualities than they are status of qualification. We’re therefore open to candidates either QBE or part/fully CIPD Level3/5, though the successful candidate must have a good range of experience gained within a generalist HR administration function. The HR Administrator should possess a solid understanding of general HR policy and ideally (though not essentially), an up to date knowledge on the key aspects of UK employment law. The role will be predominantly based from the company’s Plymouth headquarters (or remote), but may entail occasional fully expensed travel to other UK sites.

As a modern, growing business, our client is keen to emphasise outstanding career development opportunity. This employer also offers a host of financial and non-financial benefits including a generous pension scheme, CPD contributions, discounted gym membership etc.
