HR Business Partner - Barnstaple - £: Negotiable DOE

Well Placed HR have been exclusively assigned by a long-standing client, a global manufacturer with a long-standing site based in Barnstaple. They are a major local employer with an excellent reputation for staff retention and high-quality production output. 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will join a small HRM team and take full management of a specific area of the business. The key focus of this role is to nurture and develop colleagues, ensuring that those that want to progress - do. The role works to improve people management strategy and develop the function through projects and improvements, ultimately creating a culture that is as close as possible to an employee utopia! In this role, the HR BP will play an active role in developing and promoting: 

- Colleague support and relations

- A superb recruitment and resourcing strategy

- An efficient and modern program of training and development

- A culture where employees are engaged

- The provision of management information

- The delivery of ongoing projects

A full and detailed role specification will be made available to all shortlisted candidates. 

The candidate will ideally be CIPD qualified, with at least two years’ experience working as a Business Partner. Whilst the employer appreciates and respects professional qualified individuals, they will be equally happy to consider candidates who can demonstrate sufficient experience from a QBE capacity. The successful candidate will possess exposure gained within the services, manufacturing, or retail sectors. It is crucial that the post holder has high levels of commercial awareness and is happy to work in what is generally considered a non-corporate, supportive environment. Strong team fit is equally important to technical exposure for this post.
